Right
well you've found your way here so I assume you are actually interested
in Delphilist and what it's all about.OR you're just bored and
trying to pass your time. Either way I'm here to tell you what
we're all about and what we aim for in the future.
Delphilist
was started way back in 1997, by a couple of Delphi developers.
Back then it was just a mailing list on Onelist.
Since then it has grown to hold over 50 members, and this flashy
new website.
Delphilist
is all about user participation. The idea is for a community of
Delphi developers to get together and help each other out. We're
hoping to have our own server soon (what with cable modems coming
out in England.) When they drop in price I'll be setting up a
linux box connected to it, with a web server dedicated to Delphilist.
This should mean that site loading should speed up dramatically,
and also increases the threshold for downloads (How does 3GB+
worth of Delphi files sound to you?)
In
the future I'd like for Delphilist to be THE source for
Delphi information. Obviously this is a big target but i think
it can be done. That's why the users of Delphilist need to start
writing their articles, submitting their tips and links, so the
community will grow.
