Internet Component Suite
ICS by Francois Piette is an excellent set of free VCL components written specifically for internet apps. It includes a Socket component, as well as FTP client/servers, HTTP, SMTP, POP among many others. Well Worth a look.   more

Delphilist Site Re-Opened (Again!)
Well this is it. the final redesign. I redid the site one more time, to benefit users of low screen resolutions. Making a page only 600 pixels wide is becoming very common now, for wide compatibility, and since Delphilist is providing a service, it should be available to as many people as possible The design was inspired by netalive.org's CKB site, I hope Jaz doesn't mind me "borrowing" his design idea (it's not a straight copy, but i loved it so much i adapted it a little......) and I have put an NAO and CKB link on EVERY page of the site. I also got rid of the banner ads. Firstly, because some visitors to the site complained that MSN LE's banners were slow, and secondly they wouldn't fit in the table cell :o)
Anyway, hope you all like the new site design, it not only looks better (IMHO) but is also easier to update. Oh yeah this one's ICQ and low-res-friendly too. I am looking into getting the Delphilist site onto a host that supports CGI, we'll just have to see.

Feature

Netalive.org is going strong
Netalive.org (NAO) is now bigger and better, with a redesign and new forums to post in too (nao.crackers.saltine is a good laugh.) It is an active place to ask web-design, script writing and general computer questions, while also having fun in the nao.rec.rofl group. So, please join us at netalive.org and conrtibute to this growing community (my username on NAO is "jbooker".)
